Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related fields. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.

Job Description:
Confer with management & staff to discuss project specifications and procedures relevant to electrical equipment and components and products for commercial, industrial, institutional and residential buildings. Design power and lighting for commercial facilities, and inspect electrical drawings and control relay schematics to ensure compliance with safety standards, specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Analyze technology and resource needs to plan and assess the feasibility of electrical projects which require the input of an Electrical Engineer. Coordinate installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish installation standards and specifications. Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards. Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects. Prepare specifications for purchase of electrical equipment.
